PHILANTHROPY

 

With her husband, renowned artist Michael Rogatchi, Inna Rogatchi is actively involved in philanthropy since late 1980s. Together, they were co-founders of the Arts Against Cancer (AAC), well-known international cultural charity in support of cancer patients, in particular children and their families. The Honorary Chairman of the AAC was Maestro Mstislav Rostropovich, and among the members of the AAC International Advisory Board were Margrethe II of Denmark, Barbara Bush,  Sir Linda and Paul McCartney, Maurice Bejart, and many other outstanding public figures.

The Rogatchi Foundation (www.rogatchi.org)  has  become a natural continuation of the Inna and Michael Rogatchis' international charitable work. The Foundation promotes arts and culture, supports historical and moral heritage, helps young talents, and provides for elderly and needy, focusing on orphans. Among the members of the International Advisory Board of the Foundation are Maestro Evgeny Kissin, Member of the European Parliament Hannu Takkula, prominent banker and philanthropist Herta von Stiegel, former acting Mayor of Jerusalem Yigal Amedi, and many other outstanding personalities.

 

 

The Foundation also continues the Rogatchi family's personal involvement into helping the cancer patients, especially children and their families, but also to the people suffering from the other serious illnesses. The Rogatchi Foundation concentrate its efforts on the wide educational issues believing that qualified  and morally responsible educating is the main tool of ensuring of the decent future of the generations to come. The art and culture can play an exceptionally powerful role in such education, and this is the matter of constant interest for The Rogatchi Foundation.

In partnership with many cultural, educational and medical  institutions world-wide, Inna and Michael Rogatchi and their Foundation are conducting various charitable campaigns for over 25 years, outreaching to the people in need in many countries, from Finland to Japan, and from Lithuania to the United States, including Israel, Poland, Estonia, Italy, the UK, and many others.

 

They are also conducting various charitable activities with their both' art making the art a vivid element of their philantrophy.

 

 

Inna's work in film-making and art photography is also connected to her and her husband's philanthropy directly.  Lux Sei Photo Art (C)direction of her photography which provides psychological comfort to people , often applied in many medical and social establishment in various countries.

 

The Rogatchi Foundation also carries on SPARKS OF KINDNESS international charity campaign in support of the Holocaust survivors in need and 'the hidden children' of the Holocaust, with help of Inna's The Lessons of Survival film.
